D&D: four years later

another year in the books and ever so close to the five year anniversary next year. just thinking of spending four years playing with the same folks (mostly) and running with the same characters that we all made and love, is amazing. i cannot wait for our group's fifth anniversary i will have to plan some kind of remarkable campaign or even an incredible encounter that brings everything together. but for now our fourth year is written and we have come a long way in our short time together. a year later felt like only a short time because we had fun and had a great time together. we created a whole new group for them as we do for new players but yet as time went on, we had an idea for even more characters so another group of PC's were created. and yes i ended up making more PC's and NPC's of my own. i've expressed in the past that i enjoy writing up these yearly reports, because it documents our growth and the changes we have gone through over time. i originally star...

the Count's Trans-Serbian Renegades

 had these for some time now but never got around to doing a post on them. these are the Count Casamir's Trans-Serbian Renegades from Bob Murch/Pulp Figures. i will admit post WW1 and pre-WW2 russia era i am not too sure on history, so i am not totally sure why these fellows are renegades but whatever they seem like a nice group characters to run a pulp game with. the Count Chernikov Kasamir and his Trans-Serbian Renegades. the Count Chernikov Kasamir and his faithful hound, Bella. ( not sure where the dog figure is from. ) the Count's right hand man, Anatoliy Damir and Father Dimitri Rasputin. the religious character is a figure from i think Artizan Designs. Igor, the Count's faithful bodyguard and comrade, and the Countess Angelina Oksana Kasamir. ( the Countess didn't have anything in her right hand so i carefully clipped it off and replaced it with a spare hand w/ handgun from Pulp Alley weapon pack i was grateful to get a hold of. ) i kind of want to get some WW1 r...

several more misc. miniatures for D&D

was on vacation last week and got to a point where i got a bit bored. in the middle of that boredom i was watching a few episodes of DMScotty on Youtube and started to have the creative juices flowing once again. saw a video on how to make your very own gelatinous cube and thought well i got some time on my hands maybe i'll give it a go and try to make one. group of heroic adventurers finds a gelatinous cube in a sunken temple. using the instructions in DMScotty's video i mae my a little bit bigger because i used a common land  card from my Magic: the Gathering collection, in case for some reason the card got damaged. the cude is about 2inch x 2inch and roughly 3 or so inches higher, easily able to cover enough space to trap (depending on miniatures) two to three, maybe four depending on how the miniatures are sculpted.   awhile ago i was given some extra miniatures from the Mythic Games Solomon Kane: Against the Vampire box set. i took the giant snake from it and gave it a qu...
