Chronicles of HATE - clash four

Image
with clash four we wanted to gear things up with scenarios we haven't done yet. Rita gets to use her new mercenary, which she is getting used to. i still feel bad about the mercenary fubar earlier in the chronicle. first battle the first scenario of this clash, we picked Burn the Witch. the defender's shaman needs to survive and complete a ritual. set-up of the board. i substituted a warrior for Char, so my killing machine is able to get up in the thick of it all. this board set-up has quite a few higher levels to climb so movement for some characters will be cumbersome. Char gets up in Rita's face and takes out some of her tribe. with a sinister play of tribe cards, i moved my shaman near Char and resurrected two of Rita's fallen warriors. she was not happy. battle lines are formed on the plateaus. te Prince of the Bul'Gar tribe went pillaging huts, looking for slaves and skulls. the two mercenaries finally meet on the battleground. not looking good for Rita. her t

showdown in the town square...

was messing around the other day and took out the rpg maps from Arcknight and started to plot out ideas and story for my D&D group i am going to run in a few weeks. with a huge tavern and several houses of a town i have a few ideas on how i want to start everything off. i do have plans to expand the town and such by ordering some more town maps. Arcknight has a few packs to where you can really blow up it up and cover a huge table. good friend gave me few MDF wagons from 4Ground. still have to paint them, a special character i named Valkia, a warlock with very bad intentions. this little one is a Gnome Druid. i love the variety of classes and race combinations.   never would of seen a gnome druid while playing World of Warcraft as long as i did. a Firbolg Ranger a gang of rogues and assassins, who offers services to the highest bidder.

so after i made the Company of the Blood Oath, i wanted to make a villainous group. and i took that idea and ran with it, and ran with it so far i ended up with a massive spellcaster heavy group. and of course i made a back story for them all, or least backstory ideas for them. mainly created this group for the Wiley Games Fistful of Lead: Fantasy. such an unholy alliance the necromancer and the dark seer, what would come out of this partnership? Thaddius Naxxramas and his ghouls, Karrel and Agamand. the Crowes "mother" Minerva Crowe, along side her is Yeris Crowe the Elder, and the Crowe Sisters, Wilona and Alistra. the family Crowe has deeper roots in dark magic than most would think. Minerva Crowe lets the necromancer thinks he is the leader of this group but deep down she feels she holds all the power. more to come....

velociraptors and more...

gearing up for my first DM'ing a Dungeons and Dragons game, i needed some kind of hook for my unknowingly victims. i had purchased awhile back a handful of raptors because i was gonna do a timeless isle pulp game but never came to light. so i changed their bases back to the originals and gave them a quick paint. simple prime, Citadel Space Wolves Grey contrast paint, then a drybrush of Citadel Fenrisian Grey, then black wash. i love this line of miniatures, most likely will look into getting a WizKids T-Rex. Dragonborn Fighter, Cleric, and Wizard. these were fun to paint and probably will get more. i want to paint more to replicate the Dragonflights from World of Warcraft. and then collect a few actual dragons for the game. Salmorn Fiddleguard, (evil?) Gnome Sorcerer. Bugbear Fighter and Spellcaster, used mainly browns to paint their skin colors. dark leather armor to contrast a lighter hide color for the character and same with the Spellcaster's robes. Dwarf Cleric/Paladin, D

Champions of the Greyhorn

second group of Wizkids D&D miniatures i have completed are these goliath barbarians. painted them all same skin colors and such to make them as one unit. i do want to add a few more but for now this is good enough for some game-play in Fistful of Lead: Fantasy. Asgrim, tribe leader and shaman. armed with a magical axe, the tribal chief of the Greyhorn Tribe, makes sure his tribe's land is safe from all forms of danger. Meymis fierce warrior and also a shaman of the tribe. Beorn a loyal bear of the tribe, who was saved by Asgrim from a blue dragon named Malygos. Bolmunn and Ghi warriors of the tribe. few Myconids who aid the Greyhorns more to come...
