AMBUSH!!

 been cracking at painting my fantasy miniatures lately and
dug out my orc warbands and had a little confrontation
with two of my favorite warbands that i've done.
using Fistful of Lead rules this was surprisingly brutal.

the Dragonclaw clan is about to fall prey to the Fel Orcs in an ambush
in the barren wasteland of the Thousand Needles.

the trap is set...

orcish archers place themselves up on the high ground,
overlooking what could be the kill zone.

the Dragonclaw clan is hesitates forward,
and the trap is sprung..

an orc with a spear and shield takes on arrows but becomes shaken and tries to hide it.
even though shaken, the Dragonclaw orc charges in,
but is taken out as a result of incredible dice rolling,
depends on how you look at it.

an Fel orc charges towards the leader of the Dragonclaw clan but it struck
by a magical bolt of fire.
the Dragonclaw orc boss commands someone to attack.
an orc charges in and is overcome but survives.

the warboss of the Fel orcs raises his arm that has a blade on the end of it,
and plunges it into the poor orc and killing him.

the surviving members of the Dragonclaw clan fall back,
to fight another day.
