spellcasters and orcs!

this past weekend i got a chance to see the new
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves movie and in my opinion it was fun.
not award winning but fun and enjoyable.
and afterwards was inspired to get several figures completed for a
D&D session this that saturday night.

after some time now i started painting this wizard figure but never really finished it.
but thinking how my gaming session was going to unfold,
i needed a magic user after all.

i wanted a wereraven figure for some time now.
recently finished the human form of the wereraven character pack.

had these two orcs and noticed they didn't look right with the
Wizkids Frameworks orc plastic set,
so i painted them with red skin just like my classic warhammer orcs
i did many months ago.

another human bard,
you can't have too many of these.
this fellow's sword was bent really bad so i carefully lit it with a lighter and cooled it
with cold water to melt and bend it back into place.

lately i been watching the John Wick movies and now i want to create a "John Wick"
npc for my group's D&D campaign.

i went back and redid this orc,
clipping the top of the staff to his right hand.
i didn't really like the magic spell effect that the figure had sculpted.
i added an orc skull on top the staff and gave the orc a sword.

might go back and buy another back of these to add ranks to my red skinned fel orcs
as i like to call them, but just paint them differently as far as armor goes.
probably won't give the orc shaman a sword.
maybe just be equipped with a staff.
we'll have to see what's available and what i have in the bitz box to use.

more to come....
