second group of Wizkids D&D miniatures i have completed are these
goliath barbarians.
painted them all same skin colors and such to make them as one unit.
i do want to add a few more but for now this is good enough for some game-play
in Fistful of Lead: Fantasy.

a loyal bear of the tribe, who was saved by Asgrim from a
blue dragon named Malygos.

cultists and some sneaky gnomes

to be honest i have not done much since last month. kind of took a gaming break overall, from painting, gaming and even touching a figure. after the last batch of MotU figures and trying to get another unit done for Silver Bayonet done, i was losing my enthusiasm for it. so i'm doing little things here and there. getting some figures' bases redone or small D&D characters done for adventures, but large projects are starting to overwhelm me. i guess my age is creeping up on me faster than i thought.  back in may of last year i purchased several plastic sprues of Frostgrave cultists and assembled them but didn't do anything with them for a while. i ended up painting them a few weeks ago for some encounters for our D&D group. i separated the characters who are armed with a certain style of blades from the others and gave them small shields. i also glued heads with exposed faces or masks on these particular figures compared to the rest i made. some armed with crossbows a

a special miniature (or two)

 few days ago a fellow wargamer, misterc posted an entry on his blog, the Periodic Painting Table , and there he was discussing his more favorable miniature. click here to check out that post here. and i think i misread it on what would be your favorite miniature over the years or which miniature are you more attached to. and as reading that particular post if there was one miniature or model that would be my favorite it would have to be the 2nd release of the Great Unclean One from Games Workshop.   the Great Unclean One why would this particular model be special to me? it goes back to little after it was released and the following summer i just started playing chaos space marines for Warhammer 40k and i saw this sitting on the shelf at my local gaming store at the time. i thought what a cool monster what is this thing?!  so i went home and read about it more in my Chaos codex book. after i read more i sold my soul to Nurgle.   not long after i bought the model i thought to myself, s
