now with the Heroic Warriors done from Quest Miniatures, i've started working on the miniatures from Boris Woloszyn. beautifully sculpted and well produced, this batch of figures i have, Zodac, Sy-Klone, Mekaneck, Jitsu, and Faker.  these past few days i've got Mekaneck, Jitsu, and Faker completed. ready for battle.  Jitsu, an Eternian martial artist with a powerful, enlarged golden right hand which he uses to perform strong karate chops. Mekaneck, the heroic human periscope    Faker, a magical creation rather than a robot, or as an exact physical replica of He-Man intended to fool the people of Eternia?

knowing my new MotU miniatures were gonna be arriving i decided to start painting my Quest Miniatures that were just sitting around. i quickly based them and primed them but then they sat on my workbench for a week or so. then finally my new miniatures showed up, so i figured i better get the Quest mini's done quickly. on the night of June 10th, i started painting my Heroic Warriors. beginning with Man-At-Arms, i ended up painting a miniature a night when i came home from work. to me it was kind of an achievement to get these done as quick as i did. and pretty much every night i got nine miniatures completed and based. Man-At-Arms completed June 10th  Ram Man completed June 11th Orko completed June 12th, probably first time i ever tried to do eyes on a miniature.  this was an interesting clash of forces. Trade Federation versus the army of the Republic. my girlfriend and two of her boys and I once again created an arena of chaos, with some amazing dice rolls and exciting narrative. several pics of the terrain and layout of the table. gameplay pictures taken my girlfriend, as i was running the game and being destroyed.  army of the Republic  so much chaos... many things were lit up, the IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tank is taken out of commission by a storm of blaster fire. spinning out of control and coming to a stop just in front of the Clone Troopers.    someone had a great idea of destroying buildings. aiming at a high tower on a cliff..not knowing it was a gas tank.  General Obi-Wan Kenobi and reinforcements arrive. great victory for the Republic. was getting late, the Trade Federation was not able to get any reinforcements and abandoned the underground facility. taking

  Shadow Beasts are great ape-like beasts who live in tribes throughout the dark hemisphere. Shadow Beasts can only come out in the absence of light. Originally created by Count Marzo as a weapon to use against his enemies, the beasts were driven back by Princes Keldor and Randor and forced to reside in the shadow of Mount Barathrum. There they developed a longstanding hatred of both the Human and Gar races. Easily manipulated, the ever-growing colony of Beasts was later controlled by Beast Man in the service of both Skeletor and Evil-Lyn to take down Eternos Palace. With their great strength and stealthy appearance, Shadow Beasts are more than a match for most heroic warriors! these were fun to paint. i used acrylic paints to paint these. primed with a white undercoat with a mixture of Apple Barrel #21469E Flag Red and #20594E Royal Violet for the base color. then went over all the miniatures with a very watered down black wash. with the horn i painted them

the Chaos Space Marine Terminators of the XIV Legion are treated like their Imperium counterparts, with the exception to their weapon choices and decaying bodies.. this is also written as the Chaos Space Marine Terminators are searching for weapons cache on board an abandoned ship, or simply looking for more souls for their ruinous gods to devour, but instead come into contact with the vile Tyranids... the Terminators of the Death Guard Legion are the same as the Terminators of Chaos Undivided except for all Terminators in the XIV Legion will all have the Mark of Nurgle. also all Death Guard Terminators has total of three action points. this represent the fact that these wretched soldiers of Chaos are slow and bloated with filth. dragged my feet on these guys for so long, i originally had eight to do but was so sick of painting them, i just narrowed it down to five miniatures. maybe down the road i'll get some painting mojo back and finish the last three.  this little group was created because of a buddy suggested i should do a pink skinned warband. so yeah, i did just that. very different from what i am used to. i do not like to use bright colors or bright pastel colors. I am a dark color kinda guy.  the leader armed with a spear and shield.  the other snakemen armed with hand weapons and shields. had alot of fun doing the bases. having a fair amount of aquarium rocks my girlfriend gave me from when she had an aquarium, so i put the rocks and pebbles to good use. gluing the rocks on first then pva glue sand. let dry and went back over with Mod Podge, let that dry and finally painted on some yellow and browns for a mixed color of earthly tones, and dry brush so
