Clerics and the Holier than Thou

 more for my one friend i am painting miniatures for.
this time i was able to start and finish in a few days,
about 14 miniatures.
i started first on the clergymen.
these clergy miniatures are from Gripping Beast Miniatures.



all the villagers and clergy are painted with Apple Barrel paints,
except for the skin color.
i used Citadel Paint: Ungor Flesh for that.
i kept a "uniformed" color scheme,
i went with a dark ivy green.

with the priest i went a red with black wash over top.
went back with some highlights with a dull mauve color.

more Blightlords

was able to two more Blight Terminators completed this week and also get a game of Battlefleet Gothic in before the weekend was over. like the Champion before i gave this particular Terminator a nice dose of Nurgle's Rot paint along his hanging entrails and elsewhere. kinda messed up on the helmet eyes but then second thought they sort of look like bug eyes so i didn't really make a fuss of it. with the Nurgle's Rot i made a nice puddle of ooze on the base to make it look like he is leaking really bad.  side views of the bolter arm and plague axe arm. i only oozed up the blades of the axe and very little on the axe itself, i didn't wanna make it a total mess.  few work -in-progress pics  this fellow is my first of three Terminators with magnetized range weapon arms. this Blightlord with be armed with a Blight Launcher and then also a Combi-Plasma Gun. more to come with this project.. three dow...

sci-fi industrial terrain additions

recently i made some small walls and few larger walls out of MDF square bases i had on hand that i wasn't going to do with. i decided to glue them together and paint them to go along with my already terrain set i have for my sci-fi pulp games. several pics of works-in-progress. used 25mm MDF square bases and glued them to cut pieces of an old fabric cutting board. with the larger wall sections, i used 50mm MDF squared bases and used a disposed receipt tape spool and a glued 20oz soda bottle cap on top. with not much attached to anything else, setting up obstacles and fortifications are always gonna be something different each game. reasons why i really like how these came out. even had a go at making doorways which they came out alright i guess. another pic with a different layout.
