heroic heroine or my Boudica

finally finished the villagers and

i figured i would end it with a heroic heroine.

my friend who i am painting these for requested

the she would have blonde hair.

looking at the miniature i first thought she looks like

the British Celt warrior queen Boudica.

so of course i tried to find old artwork or paintings

of any source for references,

but couldn't really find much.

I was asked not to use purples or blues with the villagers but i couldn't resist

with this character.

but least i did a dark shade of blue.

took extra time with shading and color washes.

have to admit i actually enjoyed painting this beautiful woman.
