sci-fi industrial terrian

after playing a Star Wars game with a friend,
i couldn't help myself and be amazed how simple but awesome looking his terrain looked.
so after a few questions i took a trip to my local Wal-Mart and Dollar Store and picked up a few things.
for nearly under $20 maybe minus a few bucks,
i got 2 medium and 3 small electrical fuse boxes, pack of plastic mesh canvas,
and a nice size can of dark tone of blue spray paint.

when i was collecting the ships for the X-Wing Miniature game,
for some reason i kept all the little punched out dots and such from the card templates.
and since i now have a lot of ships i also kept the excess of,
combat tokens such as evade, stress, and shield tokens.
also handy, i managed to find some Gorilla glue caps in a box with discarded material,
and in the box i found some of the caps that were from the Frebreze plug-ins.

took 2 electric boxes and somehow i had some small pvc tubes from work,
i glued to connect them together.

empty Advil bottle glued to a Crystal Light mix drink container lid.

i had a few more pvc pieces to connect more electric boxes together,
to make more complexes for the table.
more pieces to be glued then its off to be painted.
getting blue base coat of paint.
after that a generous spritz of yellow.
then a drybrush of white.

went back through with a darker blue and painted some panels on the structures.
give it somewhat character.

    1. Thanks man. Still adding pieces to the collection.
They're fun and easy to build.
