HATE: Crumbling Plateaus
layout of the table
to come to my surprise my girlfriend Rita actually enjoys a little Hate ever now and then.
this particular scenario uses the plateau templates and that it, no game board.
we set up our tribes according to the scenario sheet and got ourselves ready.
what makes this nerve wracking than most is at the end of turn one, two and three roll of a dice and marked plateau templates are taking out of play as if they crumbled and fell apart, and everyone else who were on those templates.
Rita picked the Um'Tall tribe once again mastering the art of poisons,
as for me i went with the Bul'Gar tribe and the their ability of mind control and raising the fallen.
to a whole another level.
round one didn't go to plan as i hoped.
i charged in early to topple her Prince and i lost out.
Rita drew first blood.
as round one came to an end she lost one warrior and i lost two of three shamans which is bad,
being all of my tribe cards revolve around shamans.
pretty much at this moment Rita thought she had the game pretty much in the bag.
then came the roll to see what templates were eliminated.
we both lost members of our tribes living or dead.
the Prince of the Um'Tall tribe showing everyone what it takes to be on top of the mountain.
at this moment i pretty much thought i lost this game.
i was losing members of my tribe too quickly.
just had to survive to the end of the rounds and hope the ground would give way and take her out.
by end of round two i had two warriors and 1 youngblood and Rita had her Prince
and her tribe's champion.
after some nail biting dice rolls,
and then move my other warrior into place to hopefully take out her champion also.
the all-stars of my Bul'Gar tribe.
once we have the chronicle or campaign rules down we will be doing one so that'll be posted
up as we go along.
Looks like a pretty cool game, I like the floor tiles.
ReplyDeleteit's a fun game. I'll have to show u it sometime. and those are plateau tiles, for higher elevation.
