once upon a time in the Wild West...

few months ago i was given a chance to go through a haul of miniatures
before they were sold and the money went to charity.

and for sometime now i've been wanting to dab a little in the wild west genre
and so i made a deal with a friend who is gonna get a extra set
of the new Zombicide: Wild West game kickstarter character set.
but with the chaos taking place with the shipping cargo ships and such,
i'm hoping everything is cleared for shipping by March.

but anyways few months ago i came across quite a bit  western miniatures.
and these miniatures were a bit bigger than the rest of the majority of my collection.
so i had to do some research and found out they are of the DeadLands miniature line.

so i decided since it would be a little costly to continue to search and collect these figures,
i'm just gonna wait for the Zombicide figs and use the Deadlands miniatures in the meantime.

have to say,
the miniature on the far right,
had something sculpted from his mouth and at first i thought it was part of his beard.
so i painted him last because i was confused what was on his face.
so i asked Rita, my girlfriend what she thought and she said looks like a pipe.
that's what i thought also at one point. good times.

i don't think the middle figure is part of the DeadLands miniature line but
he was wild west looking so i grabbed him.

at the moment these are the miniatures Rita and I, and her boys are using
for our rpg we are currently running using the Desperados ruleset.
Alex Rose, a smart woman who is educated but lost everything after her husband was murdered,
Mr. Adams, a gambler who is mild mannered but eager to stay alive,
Mr. Philip McCraken, a young gunslinger who walks the thin line of danger, surprisingly reach the age of 24,
and Mr. Fox, a fur trader and trapper, whose adventures ending up in the wild west.
fairly older man with a chip on his one shoulder and his trusty rifle on the other.

the only indian miniatures i own.
kinda sad, i do need to invest in some more.

this particular one though is from the Rumbleslam game from TT Combat.
love the model so much i retouched the paint and redid the base the miniature.
and with some flavor i added some rpg story element having
him able to shapeshift into a bear.
so i am using the bear miniature from the Wizkids D&D line.
