operation MotU: miscellaneous characters II

 another round of MotU miniatures and this time really miscellaneous characters.
these characters i found in either the Masters of the Universe character guide and world
compendium from Dark Horse Comics, that my wonderful girlfriend got
me a few years back, or on Battle Ram Blog.com.

since i painted up an Anti He-Man, it was only given he needed an Anti Battle Cat.
and since i read there was to my knowledge an Anti Man-at-Arms and an Anti Orko,
i painted up those since i had spare figures on hand.

after reading some articles on Battle Ram Blog i came across some interesting facts,
and thought it would be interesting to see these on the tabletop and in game.

i've seen artwork from a comic of rock people and there is a green face one
that isn't Granita so i always thought it was just another rock person.
not sure of a name, but i'm trying to think of a nice one though.

 recently i've taken a break from all things related to the hobby. sometime ago i had several MotU miniatures painted but not based and finished, but i managed to get those and several more completed before i went on vacation last week. during my hobby break i came across an interesting facebook page and website, Battle Ram Blog.com , where it dives into the background stories of the Masters of the Universe toy production and published books throughout the world. which i find fascinating one story could be different or slightly changed from one country to another. i did have the Great Rebellion faction next to be painted but with my hobby hiatus, i did some miscellaneous characters and even some odd ball characters that either came from fairly recent toy lines or just cool concept ideas/artwork. Space Weirdos + MotU = fun times

for some time now i've been writing stats for Space Weirdos using the Masters of the Universe miniatures i have been collecting from CMON's Clash of Eternia board game. i wrote some stat blocks for MotU for Fistful of Lead, but using Space Weirdos seems to fit them the best. spending the good part of my vacation just relaxing i finally pulled out some figures and play tested some of the stats i wrote. after a few turns i have to go back and redo some numbers. but overall it was fun. i only played a few turns solo and i have to say playing solo kinda sucks sometimes because i forget some solo mechanics. maybe hopefully this weekend i can get Rita to play a game or two after the convention. Whiplash charged in without caution and dueled Fisto for a bit until becoming victorious. Stratos was challenged by Clawful and Ninjor. Stratos disengaged, while Man-E-Faces opened fire on the evil villains, taking out Clawful and wounding Ninjor. while Trap Jaw was opening fire on the heroic ...

Grishnug and the Red Fangs (edited 3/3/24)

continuing working on my orc warband. once again i continued using the slapchop painting method just to get several more painted in a short amount time. since i am using two sets of the Wizkids orc box sets i will have multiple orcs with same armor sculpts and weapons. when i painted these guys i mainly used a red and green for any cloth on their armor. i did convert some weapons so they wouldn't look the same to another figure armed the same way. with several of them i used a lighter to some what melt and soften the plastic to either bend wrists/hands holding weapons or even clipped some weapons so they wouldn't look the same to another. the orc warband lead by the self proclaimed king of the orcs, Grishnug. which was the name of my orc hunter from back in my days of World of Warcraft.
