what dark secrets these tomes hold...

more scatter pieces for my dungeon crawls.
been looking at these packs from Reaper Miniatures for some time now,
and finally got a hold of them.

love the gargoyle pedestal

i needed a Necronomicon.
can't run Lovecraft inspired games without one.
i have to admit this is the main reason i bought the one pack
of magical items from Reaper.
all worth the price.

another book opened, this one slightly bigger than the
one that is on the pedestal.
when inking the pages i had to draw a pentagram.

this piece is of a large opened scroll with a skull and a
few scrolls stacked up on the side.

they were a lot of fun to paint.
a few of them i glued on to a small rock and then to a base,
to give it a natural feeling of it was left there to be found in an adventure
by some unknowingly explorers.
