Skeletor, He-Man, and the Hellscape

recently got a Skeletor and He-Man miniatures for Easter from a good friend.
these are quite larger than the Quest Miniatures i'm used to, but they were great to paint.

after painting the Skeletor, i read another friend's blog on how he converted and made a custom figure
using parts to create a new character with a written bio.
i didn't realize he created the character and thought it was a canon character
from another story line within the MotU universe.
with this i wanted to create a new character for my gaming group's MotU game.
i went ahead and repainted the Skeletor to the Hellscape colors.

going off the Anti-Eternia story-arc,
After He-Man defeated Anti-Eternia He-Man and closed the portal,
the Masters thought that would be the end of trouble from that evil place.
But Skeletor hadn't given up on his plans to harness the powers from
that forsaken place and, through many spells and trials,
he finally managed to summon Anti-He-Man's sword of power.
When he called upon the dark power of Castle Hellskull,
the magic answered and he was transformed into an ever darker version of his self,
the one that would become known as Hellscape Skeletor.

Whyte Knight's custom Hellscape Skeletor figure.

i can actually say with this i don't mind the size difference because in game,
you can play it as with the immense power Skeletor has discover he became larger.

  1. I feel honoured by your tribute to my made up character! Now I feel compelled to make one in 30mm too.
