finished up a barbarian miniature that was given to me.
not sure which company he is from, one of my friends said maybe Cobblestone,
but not sure though.


but with this addition i was able to assemble
my fantasy Avengers team..so say.

      thanks Skully, i actually looked up Conan the Barbarian for reference.
      i don't know why, but yeah quick, maybe 1hr. or so paint job.

    Good job. The Barbarian is a Grenadier Fantasy Warriors one, most likely a Mark Copplestone sculpt. I think Mirliton have most of the moulds now, but there are a few spread around elsewhere as far as I'm aware.

    Terrific stuff Mr Martin. Of course Conan the Barbarian is currently teamed up with Wolverine, the Punisher, Venom, Elektra and Doctor Voodoo as part of The Savage Avengers in the Marvel comics, so what a great opportunity to (re)paint up some "Heroclix" minis ;-)

      Ahhh a new idea on my head....noooo. now I have to look this up. I haven't read a comic since mid way through Preacher.
      Last Marvel comic I read was the Fatal Attraction story arc from the X-Men titles.

after i painted my orc warbands for the ORCtober challenge, i pulled together a miscellaneous group of villainous proportion. i had this group painted for a few months, but only now came around to take pics and post them on here. and i figure since i am going through a fantasy themed moment might as well post now. i wanted this group a very mix of characters and races, and what can to be was a group of humans, beastmen, and an orc. Knights of Kirin. Mordek has hired some muscle to aid him in finding the mythical Wyrmrest Blade. some say it is lost forever in time, but forbidden texts reads that a powerful wizard knows the whereabouts of it. a seer of the dark magik, Kirin Tenebris. Malagor, a beastman banished from his tribe. Brak, orc mercenary of the Bad Moon clan Wulfrik, a Chaos champion. Roshakuna, a minotaur who is in service to Kirin Tenebris and also disliked by Malagor.

christmas loot from the castle!!

 for those who take time and read on what little ole me is doing with my tabletop hobby and projects like to say thank you for least taking an interest in what i do, and i hope everyone is having a safe and merry christmas and happy holidays. the most wonderful woman in my life surprised me this christmas with a new edition to my tabletop terrain collection and got me the Castle set from Tenfold Dungeon. just like the Temple set but only a more darker tone and more gothic setting. with the new addition of this set i'll be able to upgrade my game instead of using the 2D dungeon tiles i made back in 2022. another great product. i apologize for the way these pics came out, i was sitting on the opposite side of the game table than i normally do when taking pics hence i believe why these pics are slightly darker. a few heroes has cornered a death knight. creeping in the courtyard, the ghost of Sir Maldred, the Red Dragon appears. a dragonborn necromancer casts spells to march forth into

race to the temple - Fistful of MotU

 was able to get a small game of Fistful of Lead yesterday. i created rosters of Master of the Universe characters using various FFoL rule sets. at first i thought this was a cool idea but then as time went on I doubted myself, had to just see what would happen on the table top. layout of the table. making it simple i wanted to do a game of pulp adventures but i haven't gamed with my MotU figures yet so i changed my mind but kept the table set-up the same. and once again i am gaining more mileage out of these Tenfold Dungeon sets then i thought it would. the Heroic Warriors, Man-at-Arms, Ram man, Orko, He-Man, Stratos, and Man-E-Faces (l to r). the Evil Warriors, Skeletor, Trap Jaw, Beast Man, Tri-Klops, Evil-Lyn, Mer-Man (l to r). turn one opened up as Man-at-Arms took some shots at Skeletor. the rest of the groups advance from each other's side of a temple. Orko cast a push back spell and sent Skeletor and Beast Man backwards. thwarting their movement towards the main temple.
