"Hector, are you okay?" - Perilous Tales

 finally got a pdf of the Perilous Tales beta rules printed out, and made tokens and markers for game play use, using 3mm mdf bases. also had objectives and perils cards printed out so now i can play the game properly. for this game, there's a merc team who is in charge of placing demo charges around town in targeted areas, but unbeknownst to the team there is something lurking around looking for prey. layout of the table.   misfit band of mercs, Hando Solomon, Garrett Cunningham (pilot of the Screaming Rooster),  Harrison Jones (team leader), Deion Baracus, and Hector Rivera (left to right). merc team begins to advance across the town square, to set up demo charges in particular spots. threat markers set-up on the villainous half of the table.   picked out three objectives to complete. the mercs begin to take caution, knowing there is something wrong here. after a threat test that seem to go well, everything got closer and minions began to be revealed.  rat sw...

Nacht Jagers

 not to long i got a hold of a pack of Nacht Jagers from Artizan Designs. got them all painted and played a few games with them, but for the longest time i wanted to get another pack of Jagers. i love the way these guys look and they give off an elite soldier feeling. almost like a killing squad with no limits and no remorse. now when i play Fistful of Lead i have a full squad and have them represent a squad of specialists instead of grunts. i might go back and paint a marking on one of the Jagers to have him marked out as a leader of the squad. squad of Nacht Jagers advancing through ruins. the Jagers set-up a position within the ruins under the command of the Stahl Mask and his guards.   so recently i did get another pack of the Mantic Games/North Star Figures Undead Encounters pack and took the ghouls from it and based them on 3mm bases so they'll fit in with my pulp collection.   Stahl Mask reaches for his communicator, " i have made contact with the test subjects." ...

Taking Down the Force Field - FFoL: Galactic Heroes

 continuing playing the scenarios out of the FFoL: Galactic Heroes rulebook. this time the heroes need to transport a bomb to blow up the building that holds the generator that shields a prototype machine that would become the Death Star. layout of the table. using my newly constructed large building as the target for the heroic team to destroy. the Galactic Heroes. the villainous henchmen for the Trade Federation. waiting patiently for the right time to attack. transporting the explosives. setting up a defense line. taking pot shots to the heroes. first blood, and out of ammo. safely taking the bomb to its destination but trying to take out some enemies. the crew leader took an early wound but used the R2 unit to take the wound. the heroes taking damage. the henchmen taking positions into taking out the threat from the heroes. all sorts of damage and carnage. desperate melee. at this point of the game there were so many shock counters distributed between the two groups. the crew ...
