even more misc. characters for D&D

since our D&D group has been coming to the end of our second campaign,
i've been getting some figures that have been sitting around painted.

bouncing between the wild west stuff and the getting what i needed done for
the D&D campaign, it's been a chore.
now since a member of our group, Jon is gonna have a run at dungeon mastering,
i can get things painted and done that's not D&D related.

here are just a few figures i did this past week.
i have several orcs and goblins i want to do for Orctober so i'm saving those for then.
i have a few more D&D odds and ends to do,
but i have been starting to do a little prep work for my follow-up campaign after Jon's,
collecting figures and basing them.
catalog what i have and what i will need.

a vampire, but not just a vampire.
a pivotal figure in our recent campaign, the heir to the throne.

looking back at what could of been.....

a half-elf cleric.
i used this figure for a character i created for a short time
as Eldrad Imrik, a life domain cleric that has a distaste for tasteless humanoids.

after playing as my tortle monk, Quirog,
i was annoyed how long his staff was so i clipped it and re-drilled a hole
and created a shorter one but still looks effective.

as you can see i gave it a shorter front end and extended the back half.
by doing this i can place the figure closer to other figures during melee encounters
or even interaction with objects.

this little fellow is a  death knight,
second figure from the pack i got several weeks ago.
i painted the first one in a way like a undead general of a horde of skeletons.
this time around i painted this one as if he is an abomination of nobility and wealth.

clash of the titans.

more to come...
