monsters and more british

at first i did not want to spend a lot on the Silver Bayonet but i caught the bug and now i am looking into and want to do a warband of russians. but for now last week i got a box of redcoats for expanding the 95th i already have and also create a solid unit of soldiers along with other recruits. once again i picked up a box of Perry Miniatures, this time british line infantry. also with this box i was able to make a few extra characters like a veteran hunter, a supernatural investigator, and another character from the Sharpe tv show. still need to paint my french unit and i will admit i am kinda intimidated because i want to do justice with the correct uniform colors and such.  in between assembling the units for Silver Bayonet i have been painting the creatures and monsters for the game also. about 99% of the monsters i got for this game are from Next Level Miniatures. pretty much the reason why is because they are cheap and cost effective. some ghosts to haunt the final resting gro

bought the Silver Bayonet rulebook few weeks ago and was excited to get into it, about a week or so later i ordered a few plastic sets of french and british soldiers. i put together a french unit but got into watching the tv show Sharpe that i got totally invested into building and painting a unit of british rifles. fast forward to a day off with Rita, i asked if she wanted to try out this new game. and also in time i got some new terrain from Gale Force Nine, actual trees for a forest landscape. heh. layout of the table. we played the solo scenario, the ruined chapel. where revenants haunt a chapel, which i don't particularly have in my terrain collection, and vampires stalk the night. with the "so-called" chapel in the middle and surrounded by clue markers that we need to investigate certain items, grave markers are occupied by revenants at the beginning of the game. 95th led by Lt. recently i got into the game The Silver Bayonet, a tabletop skirmish game based during the npoleonic war era with a dash of horror themes. and the way it looks like the go to box was the Bbitish rifles from Wargames Atlantic. and as i seen many base them off the british tv show Sharpe. and just like most i also did for my first unit for the Silver Bayonet game. i created a unit of five riflemen and Lt. Sharpe with a small unit of two additional riflemen and Capt. Harper for Rita and i when we play Silver Bayonet co-op. still have plans on getting a box of british infantry and add some officers and a few extra characters. "Did you hear something? Sounded like someone was crying." Lt. Sharpe. i was worried on how the sword was hanging from his waist. but then i saw an episode of Sharpe and saw his sword was just swaying all over the place as he was walking or even running so i didn't think much of it there after. dungeons, dragons, and the british

continuing this week of diving into Sliver Bayonet game the other day i received a box of british riflemen from Wargames Atlantic. i guess like everyone else i wanted to make a unit of riflemen that is featured in the british television show, Sharpe. along with these i have also a box of french infantry and an order of creatures and monsters for Silver Bayonet still to be delivered. but i also got some more figures painted from Historicon the other week and others that were lying around gathering dust. even though i can only use so many out of this set, maybe i'll make some zombies or revenants with them. the french infantry plastic set that is on it's way i plan on making maybe 10-15 undead soldiers from that box.  a ghoul from the Wizkids Frameworks minature line. this particular fellow is a character who was killed in our Dungeons and Dragons campaign that somehow cheated death. can't wait to drop this ghoul on the unsuspecting party.  a vampire lord from Next Level Min
