operation MotU: the Snake Men

after several months of taking a break from painting my MotU figures i was watching a few
episodes of the 2002 Masters of the Universe series and i got a little inspiration to continue
Operation MotU.
i asked my good friend Doctor Merkury (go visit his blog page, Doctor Merkury's Lab),
which faction should i do next and he suggested Snake Men,
so here we are.
there were some miniatures i was sort of intimidated by painting and some i was just not
fond of how they were sculpted and such.
but i think they came out fairly well i tried to stick to the color schemes of either the
original toys.

when i went to paint Tung Lashor i tried to duplicate the markings the MotU Origins
action figure has.

the miniature had the arms sculpted down to the base so i bent the arms upwards which
meant i had to replace the hands since they would have broken off with spare
Warhammer Skaven hands.

Snake Troopers.

and his gun.
Great work on all, and well done on completing another faction, the converted arms look like they were original sculpt, so work perfectly.
ReplyDeletethank you very much.
Deletegot two more and can't decide which one to do next...Hordak and the Evil Horde or She-Ra and the Great Rebellion.
She-Ra will probably be the harder of the two, so may be better to get that one out of the way first.
Deletehaha. yeah you're right, should just get them done and over with.
DeleteGreat work on these!
ReplyDeletethanks buddy.
DeleteThose look fun, and nicely painted.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know much about MotU, but some of those would make good Yuan-ti
thanks. there have been a few Wizkids Yuan-ti figures i've seen where i was gonna use them for some obscure Snake Men characters.
