operation MotU: miscellaneous characters III

 yet another round of characters but this time i found these on Etsy,
and i have to say these were printed fairly well.
i have been eyeing these for some time and i finally cracked and ordered them.
once i got them i was anxious and impressed.
i do get somewhat worrisome when it comes to ordering 3-d printed figures. 


ModestMinisStudio is the Etsy store i ordered these characters from.
not too keen on the material they use to create the figures but it'll have to do.
at least i was able to get a hold of these characters for my collection.

these are 32mm, which i have learned with the CMON Clash of Eternia miniatures
the scaling of these figures do somewhat differ from one another.
so when i went to order these i was a little scared that they wouldn't fit with the others,
but it works.

not going to lie this is my favorite figure so far.

when i was able to purchase Multi-Bot i also had the option of getting him in single figures.
with so much information online and in books i was not able to find any info on if the singular
forms had their own names.
the only info i was able to find was from the Dark Horse MotU Character Guide and
World Compendium.


Multi-Bot 1 and Multi-Bot 2,
according to 1984 german audio plays, both described themselves as scientists,
and Multi-Bot 1 refers to Multi-Bot 2 as "my beloved greenhorn."

 another round of MotU miniatures and this time really miscellaneous characters. these characters i found in either the Masters of the Universe character guide and world compendium from Dark Horse Comics, that my wonderful girlfriend got me a few years back, or on Battle Ram Blog.com . since i painted up an Anti He-Man, it was only given he needed an Anti Battle Cat. and since i read there was to my knowledge an Anti Man-at-Arms and an Anti Orko, i painted up those since i had spare figures on hand. the thing in the town: Perilous (western) Tales

awhile back i had an idea of playing Perilous Tales but instead of 1930's pulp, play the game in a western setting. taking the villain scenarios and reverting them to a wild west feel was the fun part, like instead of the mad scientist and his monster i thought of a crazed undertaker and his undead. with this scenario instead of remaking scenes from the movie The Thing, i took the same idea but just placed it in a western. but with this great idea of doing Perilous Tales in the wild west setting, i figured i'll run a campaign serial out of it all.  the Dennis family (Mrs. and Mr. Dennis, and Rita Lynn), Abraham Puckett, and William Loomis. the episode is the Thing in the town. ( the Thing in the Ice from the rulebook. ) some strange things have taken place in town recently, and Mr. Jenkins from the hardware store has been acting pretty weird also. the objectives are: Leave No Stone Unturned, Recover Equipment, and Set the Explosives. the perils in the game are: Disaster Strikes...

Space Weirdos + MotU = fun times

for some time now i've been writing stats for Space Weirdos using the Masters of the Universe miniatures i have been collecting from CMON's Clash of Eternia board game. i wrote some stat blocks for MotU for Fistful of Lead, but using Space Weirdos seems to fit them the best. spending the good part of my vacation just relaxing i finally pulled out some figures and play tested some of the stats i wrote. after a few turns i have to go back and redo some numbers. but overall it was fun. i only played a few turns solo and i have to say playing solo kinda sucks sometimes because i forget some solo mechanics. maybe hopefully this weekend i can get Rita to play a game or two after the convention. Whiplash charged in without caution and dueled Fisto for a bit until becoming victorious. Stratos was challenged by Clawful and Ninjor. Stratos disengaged, while Man-E-Faces opened fire on the evil villains, taking out Clawful and wounding Ninjor. while Trap Jaw was opening fire on the heroic ...
