Fistful of Le.a....Magic!

after getting a majority of my fantasy miniatures painted i wanted to play around
with my Fistful of Lead rules in anticipation for a fantasy based rulebook that is in the works.
so i used the core FFoL rulebook but since i wanted to have a mage in the one group,
i went and used the psionic powers from the FFoL: Galactic Heroes rules.

layout of the table.
four teasure chests in a triangle formation towards the center of the table,
with one in the center of the gaming area.

 group of Lizardmen

band of adventurers looking for priceless relics.
led by the sorceress Meabh.

 brood of chaotic Snakemen.

 Snakemen taken a treasure chest.

the adventurers had come across one of their own.

Lizardmen advance, but the sorceress using her Push spell and sends the cold bloods back.

Baron Guillotin captures a chest for his group,
while the others create a stronghold to secure the loot they have collected.

 stalking opportunists,
waiting for the right moment to strike or steal.

the cold bloods sizing up the enemy.

becoming victims of the Push spell.

 preparing to strike.

Eiflord, a Barbarian who has a death wish charges axe first into the lizardmen's leader.
cutting him down with brute force and relentless fury.
going head to head with second in command, and a soldier,
the barbarian takes damage from a two handed mace but in turn kills the soldier.

standing his ground the lizardman eventually takes down the crazed axeman.

Raaf the Harbinger, a fallen Knight defends the sorceress by protecting her from harm's way.

Geoffroi Sinclair, a Crusader defends his honor and Lady Meabh.

after going a round of combat the fallen knight was overcome by injuries and pain,
fleeing the battle and dying from his wounds.

overall the chaotic Snakemen recovered one chest,
despite being denied any combat,
while the adventurers captured two and taken out little
over fifty percent of the Lizardmen.
