the wolf man: Perilous (western) Tales

it's been awhile since i have done a Perilous Tales game and i recently got some
miniatures done specifically for a game.
i also thought it would be kind of cool to have a number of games connected to each
others with a specific storyline bringing them together.

the episode is the Wolf Man.
on the edge of the land owned by the recluse Whateley family, Abraham Puckett and
company make their way out from town to make sure everything is on the level.
with all the strange occurrences happening around town, Puckett thinks he knows where the
source is coming from.

the objectives are: Kill the Master, Destroy the Idol, and Set the Explosives.
the perils in the game are: Creeping Horror, Utterly Horrible, Earthquake,
which all were randomly generated.

using William Loomis' skill of Eagle-Eye was able to spot the threat marker that was the
main villain werewolf.
with some decent dice rolls, was able to take him out in one turn by forming
a firing squad.

after taking out the werewolf, the group found the young werewolf not far away.
in my head i felt good about this game.
with both main villains done should be nothing but smooth sailing.
Eagle-Eye is such a great skill trait to have in these games.

with some not so threatening threat markers being unveiled,
was able to get some objectives started like setting explosives on certain pieces of terrain.

a wolf sneaks up on William Loomis.

after a brazen effort of getting to a few more objectives,
Rita Lynn got ambushed by two wolves.

with all three explosives set in place and the main villain werewolf is dead,
an attempt on destroying the idol raised the threat level to the maximum which basically
brings the game to an end.

as the game ended i totaled up all the victory points and came out on top with a
grade B: a tale fit for the telling.
which is probably the best i ever did.

i also updated the roster sheet with some new stats and traits,
which in turn makes the games in the future a little bit more tricky.

until next time....💀💀💀💀

  1. Excellent. It's always fun to read your game reports.
It does look like you had a pretty successful game.
    I must investigate Perilous Tales.
