black puddings: fat free and fun to make

i always wanted to put on the table ooze monsters and such but the miniatures
from Wizkids only came in one size and style.
so i went looking for some tutorials on how to scratch built ones.

i looked on Youtube for any instructional videos and as usual i end up on DM Scotty's
channel called TheDMsCraft.

the only thing i did differently is i used regular hot glue,
spray painted it with a black and then few coats of gloss Mod Podge.

in Dungeons and Dragons if a ooze or pudding is struck down by certain
weapons or damaged by particular types of magic spells,
they will split into smaller versions of itself.

one large ooze will split into two medium size pile of ooze.
if one medium size is damaged it also will split into 2 small versions.

i made enough to a large size black pudding is able to split into the correct
amount of puddings down to the smallest form.

group of adventurers is ambushed by a fairly large black pudding.

after some time fighting it,
the ooze splits giving the fighters more grief.

the half-elf rogue delivers enough damage to the black pudding but unfortunately
it breaks down even further into smaller puddings,
while the half-orc fighter fights another one and the bard sings melodies of
inspiration to his fellow companions.

  1. Outstanding! I need to make some dividing blobs for Perilous Tales at some point, I might copy what you've done here.

    1. thank you! after reading ur comment, i guess i got another project in the works.
most likely i would paint it like the Blob in the movies..that pinkish reddish color.
