the Ghost and the Darkness

the other day i was watching the 1996 movie "the Ghost and the Darkness,"
and after watching it i thought of some cool scenario that could be played
out for Perilous Tales or something.

i happened to have a bucket of animal toys i bought up at Wal-Mart several months ago
and found two feline figures that could of been a lioness or a tiger.

i thought these would be perfect to represent the lions of Tsavo,
since the males virtually have no manes.

the pair stalking their prey.

when painting the two figures i wanted to get as close to the color of
these beasts as i could.

placed them on 40mm bases,
these fellows are slightly big compared to 25mm miniatures which
is great because that will make them more monstrous and fierce.

cornered in an alcove on a cliff,
did the men remain the hunters or became the hunted?
