some miscellaneous characters for D&D

i haven't done a whole lot of painting for a while now,
with the exceptions of what i did get done early last month.
but with a new D&D campaign looming i am pretty much gearing up for
a winter of painting and crafting.

with the basing of my pulp collection and redoing my wild west also,
i will probably be working on some new terrain for some encounters
for the new D&D sessions,
hopefully get another temple box set from Tenfold Dungeon,
and also collect some scatter terrain pieces for the middle east
and wild west collection i already have.

but for now i only got a few D&D characters painted.

a dragonborn sorceress is cornered by a group of jackalweres.

another dragonborn spellcaster for an upcoming D&D campaign.
this time around i am in the process of painting several dragonborns
but as black and blue dragonborns with a few in and there
of other colors.

i do indeed need to get a few other different style of dragonborns as
metallic dragonborns.
need to balance out the evil with some good.

another cleric from Wizkids but from their Frameworks line.
i clipped the mace for a sword, just something a little different for a change.

this time around i think i want to try multiclass and this figure is perfect.
for a cleric with a darkside, or a fighter who has joined a cult and now
worships a otherworldly entity.
or maybe a paladin that betrayed his oath.
i don't know, we'll see what i come up with.

originally when Lindsey and i did her second character as a dragonborn druid, this
was the miniature i had in mind but i couldn't find it anywhere during the spring/summer
of this year and it was frustrating.
i really like these sculpts the most for dragonborn spellcasters.

i added a skull in her hand, as i also added a skull on the end of the staff of the
first dragonborn at the beginning of this article.
i guess to give them some bad guy vibes.

long time ago i think Rita bought a storage chest for me for all my dice.
and then we bought one for a member of our D&D group.
so after some time i wanted one in case i have a chance to play D&D outside of
my own home.
so i bought this nice looking little chest from the local Hobby Lobby.
enough space to store my dwarf cleric's spell cards and a small container with some
glass bead counters.

and on the same night i bought my dice chest,
Rita goes ahead and buys a jewelry box for her dice box.
she asked me if she should get it and i said to her,
"i dare ya, it'll be funny."
and she did it, she says it's pretty and so pretty.
not gonna lie it does look stylish.

more craziness to come...

  1. Great stuff. Those dragonborn in particular look lovely.
Have you seen the Reaper Bones dragonborn? They make good PCs. I'm not sure if the are obviously identifiable as particular dragon types though

    1. I've seen Reaper's and some of them remind me of what u would call half-dragons.
they would make awesome NPC's also.
I do have quite a bit of the lizard folk Reaper has.
