more MotU madness

after getting the Snake Men finished i been contemplating on getting another copy of the
CMON Clash of Eternia kickstarter sets to make more characters i do not have or create new
ones with different painting schemes.

going over pages and pages of listings on eBay i found a decent set for a decent price.
i took some time and went over the contents of each box set mapping out what figures i want to
either convert into new characters and which ones i would use for pieces and such.

i look at this as a passion project but also a cheap excuse to delay getting the She-Ra and
the Great Rebellion figures painted. haha.

the package arrived when i was at work,
and once i got home i pulled out the figures i knew right away i wanted to begin to work on.
a few i have to wait for because i need additional supplies like green stuff putty and some paint,
and of course some nice weather.

since finishing the Snake Men i want to create some more characters from this faction.
i want to use the Fang-Or body and Clawful's right arm to hopefully create a Lord Gr'Asp.
using the concept art from the MotU Origins line, if i am able to get another
Wrath of Snake Mountain expansion set i would love to make Strettch Nek, Quick Flick and Vypor.
i want to use the Roboto figure and make a Golden Rod with minor additions.

since i have an Anti He-Man, i think he needs an Anti Battle Cat.

with this Ninjor miniature and a different paint job i can make Slamurai, a heroic ninja.

i want to redo and make a brand new He-Man figure.
instead of using the one you would get in the basic set i want one that has a better
dynamic pose.

take the Zodac figure and clip off the gun and add a staff and you will get Zodak.

for the meantime i haven't painted any mounted figures with the appropriate riders  quite yet.
i'd rather have the mount figures themselves without any riders.
Stridor came with Fisto mounted and now with two Stridors i went and removed the Fisto
figures and plan to have Stridor and Night Stalker.
which i think will be really badass on the table-top.

  1. Wow, when you said you wanted to do some more obscure characters you weren't kidding, and I actually had look up several of them ! LOL Sounds like a passionate plan, but you will still need to paint She-Ra eventually ! LOL
