the Parable Custodians

as you sift through a plastic container filled with half painted or maybe just primed miniatures, your mind tends to wonder on whether or not the one miniature that is in your hand is something you can use or not.
or the several that you set aside is going to be some kind of group you want to make for the next gaming session.

the first miniature i came across was the duel wielding six shooters giant ape.
when i came across this i damn near died.
i thought this miniature was gonna be awesome in anything i put him in.
once i found several more i knew i had to make a motley crew of pulp characters.

once i decided which miniatures i wanted to be like a crew for games,
i started painting them.
as I was painting each character, i was thinking of a back story for each one of them.
just a little something to give them more life.

the Parable Custodians

i wanted the group to be so abstract and unusual than the normal groups of pulp characters i have done in the past.
when i went through that container of miniatures i did come across quite a bit of
robots and such.

so i will have to say this is the most diverse group of characters i have ever thought up of.

Hando Solomon,
fearless, and brave leader,
and has an emotional thing for the lovely Rita Lynn,
but he denies it.

Rita Lynn
brains behind the operation,
and not to shabby with a rifle.
unbeknownst to Hando, she feels the same way for him,
but doesn't show it.

Panzer
an angry dwarf with a fiery hatred for the Germans,
but also has the talent of able to drive anything on wheels or tracks
and not afraid to jump into the cockpit of an airplane.

Dax 819
a robot programmed by Dr. Konrad, a Nazis neurologist and engineer, few years back to
carry out orders and tasks.
after been nearly destroyed during a raid,
Dax was reprogrammed by Rita Lynn and given a new lease on life.

Morado
gorilla that was magically altered by a sorcerer in the jungles of Africa,
and found his way to Central America into Mexico.
he became a gunslinger and joined a few bands of outlaws in the late 1800's.
because of his unusual nature he is able to live longer than the gorillas in the jungles.
