Mk. III servo automaton
this has to be the coolest thing i found from another wargaming blog.
taking the servo skull from a GW 40k Kill Team terrain set and
create a useful miniature for gameplay on the table top.
over on the LEADPLAGUE blog,
you can read how they came about the idea and
great painting scheme.

i have the Sector Mechanicus: Sacristan Forgeshrine which had the plastic sprue
that has the skull piece on.
giving it a retouch of paint and a 3mm base,
i figured this would be a great additional to my pulp collection.

i do wanna go back and do some touch ups with a few details but overall
i am content on how this came out.
touch up on the one walking claw and the metal grate over it's left eye.

"under these circumstances, i cannot guarantee this will work."
"if you cannot guarantee a working machine,
i cannot guarantee your safety anymore."
"Stahl Mask, we have it. i give you the Mk. III."
"forgive me, professor. you can thank Dr. Achenbach for giving you for time to live."
"Dr. Konrad, please take the professor back to his laboratory.
he has much work to do this evening."
Very nice work!
