more gunfighters #PWYG

here are the rest of the wild west miniatures finished for the Paint What You Got challenge.
i wish i had these done earlier in the month but with the weather not being cooperating
and then trying to get over a chest cold all aspirations of painting are withering away.
a day before i'm writing this post i got what i wanted done.

with a total of 30 miniatures from 3 box sets,
there were four i didn't use because they were in a crouching position,
four more i held off on, for a special project i am in the processing of kind of doing
for Perilous Tales,
so that leaves 22 in total wild west figures completed and done for
the Paint What You Got challenge.

i made a small band of bandits and criminals all with masks and face coverings.
these were fun to put together and with the female set released not long ago these
are better than the wild west Zombicide figures i had in the past that i was going to
use for western games.

some females brandishing some fine hardware.
and still i will admit i am terrible at painting faces.

a few concerned townfolk.
was gonna make these fellow deputies but forgot to add the badge on them and
just didn't bother going back and adding them.

when i was assembling these figures,
i wanted to make a female who looked like Sharon Stone's character from
the movie "the Quick and the Dead."
which is probably one of my favorite western films.

a posse looking for some street justice.

most likely i am going to get a few more plastic sets to make more particular
characters and several civilians.
i have to say these are quite nice to put together and paint.
i was looking into the actual Dead Man's Hand game, but we will see,
until then i'm just gonna appreciate  these fine figures.

  2. Terrific work - I especially like The Lady (Sharon Stone). I'm not a fan of crouching/kneeling figures myself, and try to steer clear of them when I can.

  3. So glad you managed to get done all the models you wanted to from the box, and they've turned out great, look forward to seeing what you've got planned for the remaining figures, and what you continue to do.
