finished a friend's dungeon spiders.
quick and easy.
after painting these i kinda wish i had collected a goblin army filled,
i had so much fun few days ago playing Perilous Tales i swapped out terrain pieces and set up a new game. i also updated the roster sheet with new experience points, traits, and skill points for a new game eager to play. love how it only takes one good idea to invigorate the interest of playing solo games again with little time i have to spare with work and all. the episode is the cursed Ozomatli. ( the Mummy from the rulebook. ) the group has come across some ruins of some sort of temple or point of worship of a bygone civilization and is rumored to have some precious artifacts to be had. the objectives are: Kill the Master, Destroy the Idol, and Get Evidence. the perils in the game are: Unsteady Underfoot, Utterly Horrible, Earthquake, which all were randomly generated. the group spreads out and gets a visual of what is what. like usual using William Loomis' Eagle Eye trait to take a peek at some threat markers. knowing what threat markers are i starting to reve...
still plugging away at the mess of undead miniatures i still have. these skeletons are from the Undead Encounter pack from Mantic Games. i went with a simple color scheme, i didn't want to spend a lot of time on them. the so called leader of the group. with the simple color and shading these came out nicely. i might go back and retouch the eyes, maybe add a green glow or redness in the eye sockets. rest of the group. way these came out i might purchase another pack of these, add more to the more ranks. Beholder Zombie. this fellow was fun to paint. cannot wait to unleash this on my D&D group. (insert evil laugh here) Crawling Claws. wanted to make some low CR creatures for this weekend's game, and since the group is heading to a den of evil what better way than this. made from dismembered hands from an old GW zombie plastic set. last year i came across some board games called Dark World, and the miniatures were pretty cool to use elsewhere in my table top games. so i used t...
here are the rest of the wild west miniatures finished for the Paint What You Got challenge. i wish i had these done earlier in the month but with the weather not being cooperating and then trying to get over a chest cold all aspirations of painting are withering away. a day before i'm writing this post i got what i wanted done. with a total of 30 miniatures from 3 box sets, there were four i didn't use because they were in a crouching position, four more i held off on, for a special project i am in the processing of kind of doing for Perilous Tales, so that leaves 22 in total wild west figures completed and done for the Paint What You Got challenge. i made a small band of bandits and criminals all with masks and face coverings. these were fun to put together and with the female set released not long ago these are better than the wild west Zombicide figures i had in the past that i was going to use for western games. some females brandishing some fine hardware. and still i will...
