Chronicles of HATE - clash three

to start off our clash three,
Rita and i decided to try some heavy smashing with our
Princes so we picked the Duel of the Tyrants scenario.

a very multi-tier landscape with our
Princes right next to each other.
the only way to kill the Princes is using the catapults on the sides.

first battle

seems easy enough to pull a win...

set-up of the battleground.

Char made his presence known...

the Bul'Gar tribe cautiously approaches the plateau.

tried to lure the Um'Tall's towards the awaiting Bul'Gar tribe,
Rita didn't take the bait.
she held her own.

Char made a bloody path towards anything that breathed.
even the Princes could only be killed by the catapults,
that didn't mean others could live.

by some sneaky and cheesy maneuvers,
Rita was able to take down Char and a few of my tribesmen.
also was lucky to down my Prince,
and stand tall victorious.
i did tell her at the end i held back a lot.
i really wanted her to win a battle.

second battle

for our second battle we decided on a scenario that most play for the first time
once they open the box and begin to play HATE.
attacking player pillages the huts,
defender KO's several members of the attacking tribe.

the Bul'Gar defending their huts from the shamanistic tribe of the Um'Tull.

the flesh juggernaut, Char is unleashed.

a lone member of Um'Tall harvested some resources but gets caught.

a fierce warrior cleaves the enemy in the name of his Prince.
the two hulking giants stare each other down.
Rita not only hates Char but she dislikes my one warrior with the
Cleave ability and able to strike all adjacent enemies.

Rita went in to take her first hut and discovered it was hostile and took some
time to silence the threat.
objective: Huts 1/3 pillaged.

Char maimed the youngblood that was equipped with the newly won catapult upgrade.
i am reminded of how annoyed and upset Rita was because of this,
for the following several hours afterwards.
good times.

at this moment i was at 5/6 enemies knocked out or killed.
Rita decided to flee and fight another day.

the carnage after everything was said and done.

so after doing the paperwork of the HATE chronicle and such,
i made a big snafu and way back in the first clash.
so to make it up to Rita i told her to pick a mercenary for her tribe.

after deciding for over nearly what seemed to be forever,
she picked Rash'Naar.

by the end of clash three,
i was able to gain a plot of land,
and Rita also claimed some territory.

    1. i've been lurking on ebay looking at tribe sets people are putting up for sale.
they are great and itching to them but damn so much detail, but not as bad as a GW model.
